From The Chairwoman—Cindy Grasso (April/May 2008) - I’m sorry we haven’t had a newsletter, but things have changed as far as the handling and printing of the Monthly Newsletter therefore, as you know, it is not being printed. From the Nebraska State Commander—Armando Perez (May 2008) - Effective April 20, 2008 - The AGIF of Nebraska became a "State At Large" Organization. This means that all Chairs of the AGIF State Officers have been relinquished. The AGIF National Office has been officially informed of this Organization Status change. As a result, the AGIF State Conference on Saturday, April 26, 2008 was cancelled. A BIG THANKS to my State Officers throughout the year: David Catalan, Cindy Grasso, Kyla Alba, Alvino Mesa, Joe Ruth, Sylvia Silva, and Alvin Martinez. To Joe Juarez, for his Mentor-ship on issues at the AGIF National and State Level - Gracias. I want to thank you for the opportunity given this past year to have been your AGIF State Commander. It has been rewording and a true adventure. Moving forward and embracing new horizons in Nebraska will lead us into the future of AGIF.
Check out the “Listen Up!” page of this website for important information I’ve received as State Commander over the past month. Armando Perez, State Commander AGIF of NE. 895-3085 (h), 595-3069 (w), aperez0981@yahoo.com
